On Sunday, 7th September 2025, the Namirembe Cathedral Volunteers joyfully marked their 25th Anniversary Celebrations — a milestone that brought together current and alumni volunteers, their families, and friends of the ministry. The day was filled with thanksgiving, fellowship, and music, truly reflecting the spirit that has carried us through the years.

A Day of Worship and Inspiration
We were blessed to have Bishop Emeritus Wilberforce Kityo-Luwalira as our Guest Preacher, representing the Diocesan Bishop of Namirembe Diocese, the Right Reverend Moses Banja. His powerful message encouraged us to remain steadfast in faith and service.

Honoured Guests
Our Guest of Honour, Owekitiibwa Robert Waggwa-Nsibirwa, the 2nd Deputy Katikkiro and Omwanika w’Obwakabaka bwa Buganda, graced the celebrations and shared words of wisdom that inspired us to keep building a legacy of service.

Reunion and Fellowship
A highlight of the day was the warm reunion of alumni and current Namirembe Cathedral Volunteers. Families mingled, friendships were rekindled, and together we shared a hearty fellowship lunch, strengthening the bonds that span across generations.

A Joyful Grand Finale
The celebrations culminated in the much-anticipated 19th Edition of the Gospel Music Rally — a vibrant concert that filled the evening with praise, worship, and joyful celebration. The music and testimonies were a true crown to the day.
“The 19th Gospel Music Rally bringing the anniversary to a joyful close.”

Looking Ahead
This 25th anniversary was not only a commemoration of our journey so far, but also a launchpad for the future. We, the Namirembe Cathedral Volunteers, are deeply grateful to all who joined us, prayed with us, and continue to support our mission. May the next chapter be filled with even greater service, faith, and fellowship.
